Yesterday was the annual Yoga Stops Traffick event in Mysore (and around the world). Around 200 of us yoga students rolled our mats out in front of the Mysore Palace for a round of sun salutations to benefit the Odanadi Seva Trust and raise awareness about human trafficking here in India.
Our practice was led by Odanadi students, and after 27 suryanamaskara A’s (I may have skipped a few to take photos…) we were treated to fresh coconuts and some surprise rangoli powder left over from Holi.
The organization has done some incredible work over the last 20 years, and currently run two residential rehabilitation and reintegration centres in Mysore. If you are in a position to do donate, you can do so via Paypal by clicking here.
